Zhang Cuiying, an Australian Falun Dafa practitioner and a highly
acclaimed traditional Chinese artist, held a successful exhibit of traditional
Chinese art in Slovenia. Her elegant and orthodox traditional Chinese paintings
swept all the patrons of the exhibition off their feet. More importantly,
Falun Gong’s beautiful principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,
as revealed in Zhang Cuiying’s artwork, attracted many patrons to eagerly
learn more about Falun Dafa. Ms. Zhang Cuiying’s exhibition of traditional
Chinese art was a good start for spreading Falun Gong in Slovenia.
Prior to this art exhibit, very few people in Slovenia had heard about Falun
Gong. Even the media did not know what Falun Gong was about, although some of
them had heard the name. Ms. Zhang Cuiying’s art exhibit attracted many people
with a pre-destined relationship with Falun Dafa. The general manager of the
museum that hosted the exhibit was deeply touched by the paintings that portrayed
Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and decided to lend the exhibition
hall of about 500 square meters for free to Ms. Zhang Cuiying.
On the opening day of the exhibit, a professor of Philosophy came as a special guest and performed classical music to celebrate the event. After seeing the artwork and talking
with Ms. Zhang and several other Falun Gong practitioners, he immediately started
to learn Falun Gong at the museum and asked for a copy of all Falun Gong books,
as if he had discovered a new world of philosophy. The art exhibit spanned three
days. The patrons of the event came from all occupations, social levels, and
ages, but they all had something in common: They wanted to learn Falun Gong,
especially the children and teenagers. It appears that the thoughts of Truthfulness,
Compassion, and Forbearance were planted in their minds. The art exhibit was
imbued with a beautiful energy of art and virtue, which helped purify the minds
of all the patrons.
