On August 6, Queensland practitioners participated in
the annual Nambour Sugar Festival, setting up an information table and participating
in the parade.

On a float, several young practitioners
in pink dresses acted as small fairies, sitting in a giant lotus flower. Two other
practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises on the float. After the
float, then came practitioners' balloon wreath, and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance”
and “Falun Dafa” banners. Several practitioners in traditional Chinese costume
performed a Fan Dance while others performed on the waist drums. Practitioners'
cultural-rich performance and their exceptionally peaceful demeanor received waves
of applause and exclamations from the audience.
The practitioners were more
than happy to bring harmony and joy to each individual spectator and they were
pleased to see that more and more Australians have learned about the beauty of
Falun Dafa.
