Hundreds of practitioners gathered at Sydney’s Bondi beach for a visual display
of a “Petals of Peace” Lotus flower. The gathering was to raise awareness
of the persecution continuing in China against Falun Gong, directed by Jiang
Zemin.
At 4:30am, dawn, thousands of candles lit up the lotus flower on the beach for
a stunning display. The Falun Dafa exercises were practiced on the beach as
more practitioners joined the appeal.

by watched and took information about the event and the persecution happening
in China.

Practitioner’s Peaceful Appeal

Sydney media were particularly interested because of President Hu Jingtao’s
visit to Australia, however, Falun Dafa spokesperson, John Deller, clearly stated
that Falun Dafa practitioners worldwide are continuing their peaceful appeal
and are aware that Jiang is the one responsible for the vicious persecution
of Falun Dafa. Numerous international lawsuits against Jiang and other high-ranking
Chinese officials have been filed in various countries for genocide and crimes
against humanity.
