(AFDI) – More than 1000 Falun Dafa practitioners from Australia and overseas, to take part in large scale activities in the city of Melbourne from September 12th – 14th . The events are part of the global campaign to raise awareness about the human rights crisis in China.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Four years ago, in the world’s largest nation – China, practicing meditation and believing in truthfulness, compassion and tolerance became illegal. Falun Dafa, an ancient practice of mind and body had touched the lives of over 100 million Chinese people, yet overnight, this peaceful practice became a crime punishable by imprisonment, torture and death.
