SYDNEY (FDI) – The civil action by Australian citizen Ms Zhang
Cuiying against Ex-Chinese Leader, Jiang Zemin, and his “610* Gestapo-like
office” is listed for a Status Conference on Friday 10 December 2004 in the
Supreme Court of NSW.
The case was filed under Common Law for Torture on
September 15 2004, and has been formally accepted by the Court and papers served
to the defendants.
Ms Zhang is suing the defendants for eight months of torture
while illegally imprisoned in 1999/2000 at a Shenzhen City Detention Centre in
China because of her practice of Falun Gong. (What is Falun Gong, please visit
