On July 20, 2003, more than 5000 Falun Gong practitioners attended the 2003
Washington DC Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference. They were representatives
from North America, Taiwan, Europe, Australia and other locations. Master Li
Hongzhi came to the different conference sites in person and lectured on the
Fa in the main conference site.
Teacher Lectures on the Fa and Exposes the Persecution
At around 11:00 a.m. on July 20, 2003, Master Li Hongzhi arrived at the conference, and lectured on the Fa for about 40 minutes to more than 5,000 Dafa practitioners seated at the main conference site at Constitution Hall, National Society and five other separate meeting sites at the Capital Hilton.
According to what some of the practitioners in attendance recalled, Master
Li Hongzhi emphasized at this Fa conference that the persecution is completely
based on lies. It is different from previous campaigns of persecution, because
this persecution has been covered up in society. The tests that the persecution
has imposed upon Dafa practitioners are grim, the persecution against Dafa practitioners
is severe, and so is the persecution of sentient beings. For humankind, it tramples
upon human rights, beliefs and human nature.
These are two verses from “After Havoc” written by Master Li Hongzhi in January
1996. During four years of validating Dafa and clarifying the truth, more and
more Falun Gong practitioners have understood the foreseeing and profound meaning
of those two verses. From 1999 when Jiang claimed to “eliminate Falun Gong in
three months” to today, the persecution has lasted for four years. During the
last four years, Falun Gong practitioners around the world, especially countless
Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China, have endured unprecedented, grim
tests. At the same time, amidst the persecution that is based on lies and covered
up by lies, so many people’s minds have been poisoned and harmed.
