Falun Gong pass urgent request to Dr Condoleezza Rice, Foreign Minister of Japan Mr Taro Afo, Australian Prime Minister and Alexander Downer

On Thursday 16 March, the Falun Dafa Associations of Australia delivered letters
to US Secretary of State, Dr Condoleezza Rice, Foreign Minister of Japan Mr Taro
Afo, Prime Minister John Howard and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Alexander
Downer requesting an urgent investigation of the Sujiatun concentration camp in
Shenyang city, Liaoning Province. The letters were received by security officers
yesterday and a protest was held in front of the Prime Minister’s Phillip
St office this morning to pass the message.

According to a former
investigative journalist (8/03/06) who fled the Chinese Communist regime, the
camp contains a crematorium, and an unusually large number of doctors, reflecting
the camp’s practice of killing practitioners for their organs, which are
then sold for profit. The camp is said to hold over 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners,
and “nobody has yet come out” of it alive.

John Deller, President, Falun Dafa Association of NSW, Inc wrote:
“While the world said “never again” following the horrors of the
Nazi death camps, we are again faced with a brutal regime, intent on eradicating
millions of innocent people because of their belief. In the past, Australians
have given their lives to oppose such evil. In the present, the least we can do
is speak out to expose it.”

Sydney resident, Mr. Yuan Hong, a surgeon
in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University (AHCMU) in Shenyang,
(also Shenyang Medical University) for over ten years gave a statement at the
Falun Gong press conference earlier this week:

"Since the early 1990s,
our hospital began to perform kidney transplant operations. The kidneys came from
prisoners… On the day of the execution, the hospital would send a team to
the execution site… Hence, when we see colleagues wearing army uniforms walking
around the hospital, we know there is going to be a kidney transplant operation
on that day."

“It was common knowledge in the hospital that kidneys
used in transplant operations came from prisoners. But people are indifferent.
It never occurred to anyone that this was an infringement of human rights nor
illegal.”

Background Information:

The US Department of
State released its 2005 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices (8-03-06) China:
“The government’s human rights record remained poor, and the government continued
to commit numerous and serious abuses. There was a trend towards increased harassment,
detention, and imprisonment by government and security authorities of those perceived
as threatening to government authority.” http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/hrrpt/2005/61605.htm

The main source for organ transplants in China comes from executed convicts.
Each year, there are at least several thousands of such cases. (Laogai Research
Foundation www.laogai.org)

According to Tsingtao Daily, Deputy Minister
of Public Health of China, Huang Jiefu, openly admitted last month that most of
the transplanted organs in China were extracted from the executed prisoners…
This was the first time ever that the Communist authorities admitted that executed
prisoners’ organs were sold to foreigners for transplant purposes. http://www.theepochtimes.com/news/6-1-30/37564.html

According to Paris-based Intelligence Online, last June CCP authorities
held a “crisis meeting” in which China’s Deputy Minister of Public
Security, Liu Jing, was assigned the job of “stamping out” Falun Gong
“before the Olympic Games in 2008.”
