From 17 September to 16 October is this
year’s Floriade in Canberra. It is located in the Commonwealth Park beside the
beautiful Lake Burley Griffin. Here more than one million tulips along with other
flowers are most attractive not only to Australian tourists but also to overseas
visitors. Canberra is indeed a garden city.
Same as in the past few years,
local Falun Gong practitioners were invited again to demonstrate their exercises
at this event. Some people in audience even followed to learn the exercises while
the demonstration was performed on the stage. Many visitors watched with great
interest. During the demonstration practitioners also gave out paper lotus flowers
with Falun Dafa messages.
