Falun Gong harassment victims speak out in support of Chen Yonglin

In response to the recent allegations of senior Chinese Diplomat Mr Chen Yonglin
that the Chinese Communist Party has over a thousand Chinese secret agents in
Australia, victims of these secret agents will speak at a press conference today.

For the past six years Australians who practice Falun Gong have received continual
harassment and interference carried out under orders from the Chinese communist
regime. Concrete evidence directly links many cases to Chinese Embassy or consular
officials in Australia. Most cases have been reported to the various levels of
the Australian government, police and media; however they have so far been met
with little or no response.

“We have been told on a number of occasions
by Federal Police officers that they know Falun Gong practitioners are being followed
[in Australia].” Said Kay Rubacek, Falun Gong spokesperson. The extent to
which the Chinese communist regime has gone to, to monitor and interfere in our
personal lives is extreme, yet this is still happening all around the world.”

Various cases include: physical and verbal assault; damage to cars and
personal property; phone tapping; following and monitoring; continuous harassing
phone calls; refusal of passport renewals and visas by the Embassy; exclusion
from community events and blacklisting to prevent entry into other countries.
Australian businesses, community groups and various levels of governments have
also been threatened on many occasions by the communist regime to not have any
connection with or support for Falun Gong.
