An Appeal to Rescue 17 Orphans in China Whose Lives Are at Risk(Photo)

1 is International Children’s Day, when children around the world are celebrating
their own holiday. On this very day and under the same heaven, however, an unbelievable
tragedy is happening to a large group of children in China, which boasts a glorious
history of over 5000 years.

Xinyu, Hanhan, Qingqing, on and on, a number of
beautiful names and innocent faces, with numerous accounts of atrocities and experiences,
have been, with their sad but longing eyes, looking forward to and crying for
our conscience and compassion to awake to reach out to that age-old land.

They
are the orphans- seventeen orphans whose lives are at risk at the very moment.
According to the Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners,
only because their parents practiced Falun Gong and upheld their belief of “Truth-Compassion-Tolerance,”
their parents were tortured and persecuted to death in China, and left behind
are these young, and innocent lives. On this very day they live alone without
their parents- some are wandering about homeless. Some of them are just beginning
to learn to walk, hobbling along with their arms wide open to their parents, who,
sadly, already perished, as the result of persecution.

These orphaned lives
are so young and fragile, as everyday they are putting on the borderline of life
and death. The most unfortunate were the five children who lost their young lives
themselves in the horrendous persecution- the youngest was just eight-month-old.
Another ninety-five children lost one of their parents for the same reason with
the remaining parent being illegally imprisoned and persecuted. Because of the
tight control and blockage of the media and the passage of information in China
by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the information we collected is merely the
tip of iceberg.

As small streams form oceans, collections of compassionate hearts
will certainly shake heaven and earth. As we strongly believe, the more compassion
and righteousness everyone in the world shows, the sooner the tragedy of these
children can be stopped from extending and the fate of these children be reversed,
the fewer days these children struggle under the terror due to the loss of their
parents, and the sooner the innocence and laughs return where they used to belong.

Today,
once again, we, the teachers and students of over thirty Minghui Schools around
the globe, urgently appeal to all good-hearted people around the world: please
reach out your hands. With your conscience and compassion, show your loving care
for these innocent children; with your righteousness and courage, act immediately
to rescue the orphans of Falun Dafa practitioners who died of the persecution
in China.
