On September 3, 2005, St. Mary’s
Town celebrated its annual spring festival. Tens of thousands of people watched
the grand parade that opened the festival. Falun Gong practitioners’ procession
attracted much attention and became a focal point in the parade. Constant applauses
and cheers were heard along the route when the practitioners passed by. An endless
flow of people came to visit Falun Gong information booth and requested to learn
the exercises.
