Australian Falun Dafa practitioners send 600 individual letters in over ten different languages to the Belgium Prime Minister and Belgium Embassy in Australia in support of the Belgium lawsuit against former Chinese Communist leader, Jiang Zemin and two of his senior-most accomplices, Luo Gan and Li Lanqing, for genocide, crimes against humanity and crimes of torture.
Respected Prime Minister,
On behalf of the three Falun Dafa Associations in Australia and hundreds of Australian citizens, we respectfully write to you to voice our support for the Belgian lawsuit against former Chinese Communist leader, Jiang Zemin and two of his senior-most accomplices, Luo Gan and Li Lanqing, for genocide, crimes against humanity and crimes of torture.
Enclosed are over 600 letters from individual Australian citizens who are very aware of the real and horrific persecution of Falun Dafa in China, which is so wide-spread that it not only targets innocent practitioners of the spiritual practice, but also their families, friends, workplaces, social circles and relatives overseas. Through extensive propaganda and slander campaigns, the people of China have been deprived of their right to know the true situation, and even the international community has been much deceived. Chinese agents continually target foreign governments to spread this propaganda and justify their persecution.
The letters are written from each individual’s own experience and understanding, in each person’s native language (over ten different languages), and from people as young as six years old. Every letter is appealing to your conscience to allow this lawsuit to proceed.
We believe that your decision to allow such a significant case to proceed will provide a just forum to examine all evidence objectively via Belgium’s respected legal system.
The significance of this case is being recognised worldwide, as it is the 12th international lawsuit in nine countries to emerge in the past two years against high-ranking Chinese officials or government bodies for their roles in persecuting Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa – a peaceful spiritual practice based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance).
Your support of this case is supporting human rights, freedom of speech and freedom of belief and can help to bring an end to the most vicious persecution occurring during this century – a persecution based solely on people’s belief in these principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.
