Background:
Falun Gong is a peaceful practice of meditation and exercises with teaching based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compasssion-Tolerance. The practice was illegally banned by Chinese government on July 20 1999. Thousands have been subjected to persecution and brutal assaults in labor camps and prisons. Over 700 have been confirmed to be tortured to death. Currently 15 Australians are lobbying to rescue their family members, being illegally detained in Chinese Labor Camps as part of the global Rescue The Family Campaign.
