Mayor Bradfield spoke highly of Ms Zhang’s artistic skills as he has travelled to China and has a true passion for art. He recognised the great skill required in each brush stroke of Chinese painting. The Mayor also praised Ms Zhang for her courage to promote the awareness and defense of the human rights of others so widely throughout so many countries.
A local shop owner happily supplied an amplifier and microphone for the opening ceremony and the centre security officer greatly assisted in the set up of equipment and electricity for the opening.
Shoppers attended the opening ceremony and took information about Ms Zhang and the practice of Falun Dafa. The painting scrolls were beautifully displayed in full length in a busy area near the entrance of the centre for many shoppers to admire.
The exhibition was organised by Ms Zhang and local Ingleburn Falun Dafa practitioners to promote compassion in the community and an awareness of the beauty of Falun Dafa and the principles of Falun Dafa, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance that greatly influences Ms Zhang’s painting.
The exhibition is on for two days, September 4-5, in Ingleburn Fair Shopping Centre.
