KEY SPEAKER: Grant Niemann Adelaide, South Australia

Senior Trial Attorney for the United Nations International
Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, The Hague, The Netherlands. Specific
interests include criminal law (national and international); international humanitarian
law; advocacy; criminal procedure and practice.

Former principal Legal Advisor to the Northern Land Council, involved
in land claims litigation and general legal work on behalf of the Aboriginal
people of the top half of the NT. Following this Grant was appointed Deputy
Director of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions Office in South
Australia.

SEMINAR OUTLINE

1. Evidence and background information on the persecution of Falun Dafa
in China since 1999:

2. Options and possible outcomes of legal action taken as a step to end
genocide:

– Alien Torts Claim Act and the Torture Victims Protection Act referring to
current US Case: A-F v. Jiang Zemin.
– The different stages of the process and possible outcomes with reference
to past cases.
– Genocide, International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law
