Fawanghuihui.org has Gathered Over 10,000 Names of the Persecutors of Falun Gong Practitioners in China

According to The Epoch Times, during this year’s session of the U.N. Human
Rights Commission in Geneva Chinese NGO www.fawanghuihui.org submitted two 4,000-page
reports about China’s persecution of Falun Gong, to a U. N. human right
organisation on March 20. One of the reports was a list of persons responsible
for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China, together with the crimes
they have committed. The report contains more than 11,000 names of Chinese policemen,
government officials at various levels and others who are/were involved in the
persecution of Falun Gong. The other report contains the names of some 20,000
victims along with a list of tabulated events. An Epoch Times correspondent
interviewed Mr. Dong Hai, who is one of the members of “fawanghuihui.org”.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:

Mr. Zenon Dolnyckyj, spokesman for “Fawanghuihui.org” submitted
two 4000-page reports, concerning China’s persecution of Falun Gong,
to a U. N. human right organisation on March 20.)

Reporter: Can you tell us if this organisation has been founded recently?

Dong: The “fawanghuihui.org” website was established at the
end of 2000. We have always worked in low profile and only kept contact with
some human rights organisations and government agencies. As a result, we have
seldom been reported by the mass media.

Reporter: Oh, it’s been more than two years now. No wonder you
have collected such a large amount of names. What is your objective for establishing
this website?

Dong: Our objective is to help the Falun Gong practitioners who are
being persecuted, since Jiang Zemin has unreasonably suppressed Falun Gong irrespective
of the law. Through tracking and investigation, we have identified persons responsible
for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, and we will uphold justice for Falun
Gong practitioners by prosecuting these perpetrators.

In the wake of the frenzied Great Cultural Revolution, most of those who survived
the Revolution still have a lingering fear of that rampage. Many of those who
acted as the perpetrators in the Great Cultural Revolution have met with the
punishment they deserve, but many of them haven’t. Those who persecute
without conscience might have the mentality that they have good luck and they
might wrongly believe that they don’t have to be responsible for their
deeds. They might also think that they can do whatever they like to bully the
weak, the kind-hearted and those who are regarded as easy targets. Their despicable
acts are intolerable for people with a conscience and a sense of justice.

With our compassion for Falun Gong practitioners and our insistence on justice,
we volunteered to establish the database and the website in our spare time.
We hope that when those evil people find their names and crimes publicised on
the “fawanghuihui.org” website, they are able to review their own
deeds, so as to stop committing evil acts and even help those who had been persecuted
to make up for their mistakes. We would be very glad to remove their names from
the “Evil people Bulletin” if they review their conscience. It is
our primary mission to help those who are innocent, to awaken the evil persons
and save the evil people by stopping them from committing wrongdoings again.
If those who are on the “Evil people Bulletin” do something good to
atone for their mistakes, please contact us. If our independent investigation
proves that what they say is true, their names can be removed from the “Evil
people Bulletin”.

For those who show no sign of repentance and continue to persecute Falun Gong,
all that we have collected will clearly tell people the truth, and they will
be unable to go anywhere in the future. Furthermore, we are also seeking legal
approaches to have them punished for what they have done. This is another objective
of ours.

Reporter: Can you introduce your website to us? It is said that you
have submitted to a U.N. human right organisation a report containing more than
4,000 pages of information. What is the content in these 4,000 pages?

Dong: The 4,000-page report, submitted to the United Nations, is mainly
a list of the responsible persons who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners, and
a list of their victims. Among them, about 11,000 are persons responsible for
persecuting Falun Gong practitioners; 20,000 are victims, and the number of
government agencies involved in the case amounts to around 8,000.

“fawanghuihui.org” is basically a database, and its most important
part is the records of criminals who are being used to persecute Falun Gong.
In addition, there are also suspects’ names, the agencies they work with
and the victims’ relatives. The system will collect as much information
as possible, including suspects’ addresses, phone numbers, etc. By doing
so, we are able to easily come up with various lists according to our needs,
such as a list of evil persons in different places and provinces, the report
about “evil persons and evil deeds” in places such as labour camps,
and a complete collection of the evil persons’ addresses, etc.

For those who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners to death, we will try our
best to discover their names, gender, age, position and other related information,
so that they can be stored in our database and made known to the public.

With the improvement of the “fawanghuihui.org” website, a huge amount
of information is added to the database daily. More than one hundred people
are added to the “Evil people bulletin” each week, and more and more
people have visited the website as well. Many people are surprised to find that
this system is so wonderful that it is easy for them to record the means used
to persecute Falun Gong. By taking a look at our reports you may feel horrified,
and you may be surprised to realise how many people have been involved in the
persecution of Falun Gong.

Reporter: What are the sources of the information? Are they reliable?

Dong: Most of them are from mass media, and some of them are collected
through “fawanghuihui.org’s reporters system. Domestic insiders may
also provide us with the information through the website’s system or emails.

All information collected is verified through at least one other channel. As
for information that we cannot verify, it is stored temporarily, and publicised
only after it is verified. In terms of incomplete information, the information
is stored on the system and as more information becomes available, the information
will be updated.

Reporter: I would like to ask you a question. You are in America, while
most of the persecutors are in Mainland China. How can they know you? How can
your website have an influence on them? Will your efforts bring any effect?

Dong: Our efforts will certainly have an effect. Let me give you an
example. Someone who was listed on our “Evil People Bulletin” contacted
us saying, “I will no longer persecute Falun Gong. Could you remove my
name from the bulletin?” Some thought that their evildoing would be secret
and go unnoticed. But as soon as he knew that somebody was tracking down his
evildoing, he became uneasy. Who doesn’t have relatives or friends? If
his evildoing was exposed through any possible channel to his relatives, friends,
his childrens classmates or his wife’s friends, how would he be judged?
He would be considered inhumane and brutal. Though no one would dare to say
anything to him, they would just avoid contact with him.

As for what kind of influence our efforts will have on them, it depends much
on media reports. We have released the “Evil People Bulletin” on our
website and all overseas Chinese can help by broadcasting the news and telling
their friends and relatives, who would in turn spread the news all over China.

We are also sending the “Evil People Bulletin” to China through all
possible channels and at the same time encouraging people to report persecutors
to us. We have found that many of the officials who persecute Falun Gong are
also morally corrupted and involved in corruption and bribery. Through some
channels, we have received information of their evildoing. And we also welcome
those in China or outside China to report to us their crimes such as corruption,
bribery etc. In this way, we can conduct investigations into their crimes.

We have also submitted the reports to worldwide governments as well as their
related departments, human rights organisations, the International Criminal
Police Organisation, and other NGOs. I have just mentioned that we submitted
two reports to the UN and also to the USA Senate. In the future, these reports
can be used as papers to file a lawsuit, as the basis to investigate the persecution
of Falun Gong, as systematic information for the reference of human rights organisations
and NGOs, and even as materials for the Chinese population to understand the
facts of the persecution.

One thing is worthy of our attention. Foreigners who have tortured and abused
people overseas should not be allowed into the United States according to a
bipartisan bill introduced on March 26th in the Senate. The bill would also
make foreign officials who have severely violated religious freedom inadmissible
and deportable.

Many people involved in the persecution of Falun Gong feel that they will never
be held responsible. In their opinion, even if Falun Gong’s miscarriage
of justice could be reversed in the future, they still could go overseas with
their stolen money. Therefore, many Chinese officials are trying to organise
their future by buying real estate in other countries and sending their children
overseas. We are also investigating their real estate overseas. In the USA there
are also secret agents associated with the persecution of Falun Gong. We welcome
people to report them to us.

I believe that in a Western civilized society the evil persecutors listed on
our bulletin can be differentiated. A democratic society would not tolerate
criminals involved in brutal torture, similar to the way people find it hard
to accept the Nazis.

Reporter: You talked about reversing Falun Gong’s miscarriage of
justice. Do you think this will be in the distant future? At that time, will
your website still exist?

Dong: I believe that the miscarriage of injustice will certainly be
reversed. Now it seems hard to go on with the persecution. Lawsuits are being
filed overseas against Jiang Zemin as well as Chinese officials who are involved.
Our web site will continue to exist until one day when there is no need for
its existence. Until then, the evil persecutors listed on our bulletin will
not know how to justify their evildoing. Now they should […] compensate for
their wrongdoing, and live the rest of their life honestly, so that they will
not regret it in the future. We are welcoming them to turn over a new leaf in
their lives.

Reporter: How many people are working for the website? Are all of them
Falun Gong practitioners?

Dong: Please excuse me. I cannot tell you how many people are working
for the web site. We are not doing this for fame or personal interest, but just
out of our conscience. However, whether one practises Falun Gong is not a requirement
for joining in the organisation. What counts is their enthusiasm for doing what
is righteous and for helping the persecuted. We have received support from many
dignitaries and advocates of many organisations. For example, there are some
enthusiastic persons who are willing to offer money as a reward for those who
report the evil persecutors to us and we are still considering this. In the
future, we will be proud of our efforts to help innocent people. We will tell
future generations that if no one stands up against evildoing in the human world,
if no one speaks out for persecuted kind people, everyone in society will feel
threatened and the morality of our society will decline. Then, what might happen
to that kind of society? What we are doing is making our world a better place.

Reporter: In the past two years, have you ever had any thoughts about
your work? Has there been any obstacle? People are afraid of communism. Does
your family know what you are doing? What are their attitudes toward your work?

Dong: My family knows what I am doing. At first they could not understand,
but gradually their understanding improved. After all America is a free society
and people have many choices. You can choose to make lots of money, enjoy life,
to do whatever you think is meaningful. I make my own choice. My family also
understand that what I am doing is the most righteous.
