BBC Monitoring: Freed Australian Falun Gong woman arrives in Hong Kong, comments on arrest

An Australian Falun Gong member has arrived in Hong Kong after being
detained in Chengdu for a week. Nancy Chen says she was followed shortly
after arriving in the Sichuan city on 21st [January] and sought refuge in
the US Consulate. She says she was arrested by police the next morning and
held at her hotel until today when she was put on flight here.

Ms Chen says she was questioned about a previous trip to Chengdu two years
ago when she met local Falun Gong members.

[Chen] They wanted to ask me anything about the Falun Gong. For example,
they wanted to know a lot of information about the Falun Gong overseas and
what the Falun Gong doing overseas, things like that.
